Parents Evenings and Reporting to Parents
These are held twice a year at the end of every long term to allow teachers to feedback to parents on progress and for parents to have a look at the learning children have completed in their books. During Covid 19 these will become virtual meetings.
We are now using an online system for you to book a slot for up coming parents evenings via School Comms. We host 2 evenings in each week on a Tuesday and Thursday.
You will be sent an email with a specific link for each event, if you have any problems using this please contact the school office.
In term 6 teachers write a school report that we send out in July. There is then the opportunity to come in and speak to teachers and once again look at books- we call this the class exhibition.
Class Charts and informal feedback opportunities
Throughout the year teachers add pupil feedback to the Class Charts app and will also speak to parents if we have any concerns. Likewise parents can make an appointment t speak to the class teacher if you are worried at all.
Class exhibitions and museums
As well as this parents are invited in to school at the end of the day to view learning outcomes at the end of units of work. You will receive invites by letter. These are great opportunities to see how well your children and doing and what they have been up to.
Each year group will produce a performance to parents annually. This is another way for you to assess the progress that your child is making in a different context.
