Librarians

Our School Librarians play a valuable role in supporting the organisation and day-to-day running of the school library. Made up of pupils from Key Stage 2, they take pride in helping to keep the library tidy, well-organised, and welcoming for all pupils.

They support with shelving books, checking that resources are in the correct place, and ensuring the space remains calm and inviting. Through their work, they help create an environment where children can enjoy spending time reading.

School Librarians also play a pivotal role in promoting a love of reading across the school. They encourage their peers to explore new books, share recommendations, and support younger pupils in developing positive reading habits.

In addition, they assist with special events such as book fairs and reading initiatives, helping to generate excitement around books and stories. We are very proud of our School Librarians, whose enthusiasm and responsibility help to foster a strong reading culture throughout the school.
