Anti-Bullying Ambassadors win Prestigious Somerset Youth Award!

Last Night our anti-bullying ambassadadors were presented with the Paul Heim Award at the Somerset Anne Frank You Awards in Weston-Super-Mare.

On Tuesday evening Mr Riordan attended the Somerset Anne Frank Youth Awards with our Safeguarding Governor, Kim Jones, and representatives from our Anti-Bullying Ambassador Team from Years 3 -6.

The evening was an uplifting night of celebration. We were all incredibly proud to hear of the work children and young people are doing across the county to champion diversity, challenge discrimination, care for others and promote social inclusion.

We are also delighted to share that former PPS pupil (now Gordano), Kingsley N, won the individual award for “Actively opposing discrimination, bullying and prejudice”.

The highlight of the night however, was the wonderful surprise that our Anti-bullying Ambassadors were presented with the Paul Heim Award 2022, for demonstrating the SAFYAs 3 core values, the most prestigious award of the event.

Our pupils and their families had a night to remember and we thank our ambassadors and staff for their  commitment to making our school a safer, kinder place!

We are honoured to have been selected from such an inspiring set of nominees and are so proud of the children and the work they do.

We now have the honour of hosting in 2023!
