Governor Vacancies

If you are interested in contributing to the ongoing success of our school as a governor, we'd be pleased to hear from you.  Being a governor is an important role: one that brings both reward and challenge.

  • We have four Co-opted Governor vacancies, which are open to anyone with skills, experience and knowledge that complements those of the current governing body.  We'd particularly welcome applicants from beyond the immediate school community.  Please read the governor role description (and ineligibility information), and arrange to speak with Helen Dawes [Chair of Governors] by emailing chairofgov@portisheadprimary.co.uk

Governors are appointed for a four-year term of office.  In appropriate circumstances, they may serve a subsequent term.
