Edna will be 101 on Monday the 31st of January. She will spend her birthday in a care home in Glasgow after spending her 100th birthday at home alone. Edna has dedicated her life to looking after her son James and the two were separated during Lockdown. It has been a hard and lonely time for Edna, so her carers sent out an appeal for cards and well wishes.

We learnt about Edna in assembly today and our card will be one of many that have been sent to her care home.
