Year 4 Girls in Portishead Panthers Smash Fund Raising Target!!

Congratulations to our some of our Year 4 girls who play football for Portishead Town FC (The Panthers).

The team have taken part in a Lockdown challenge to raise money for the cancer charity, the Nicola Corry Support Foundation,  running 100 miles between them. At the last count they have nearly doubled this target!

The team have raised over £800 for the Foundation which supports families who have a parent diagnosed with cancer. The team even got a mention by Sir Gareth Lionheart Southgate, England Men's Football Manager, on Radio 5. High praise and well deserved.

This term our value is kindness. Well done to our Panthers and to their team mates across Portishead. A great example of the power of kindness. We are really proud of you!
