Our Lunchtime Leaders take on a significant role in supporting the smooth and positive running of lunchtimes across the school. Made up of pupils from Key Stage 2, they work closely with our SMSA team to help ensure that all children have a safe, happy, and enjoyable break.

They support with practical responsibilities such as helping to manage lunchbox trollies and assisting younger pupils in the dining hall, encouraging independence and good manners. On the playground, they act as positive role models, helping to organise games, set up equipment, and teach playground activities so that everyone has something to enjoy.

Lunchtime Leaders also play an important role in supporting friendships. They help to resolve minor disagreements, encourage kindness, and promote inclusive play so that all children feel valued and included.

We are very proud of our Lunchtime Leaders. Their sense of responsibility, care for others, and leadership make a real difference to the experience of all pupils during lunchtime.
