Residential Trips and visits
Our residential visits are a highlight of school life at PPS, providing pupils with memorable experiences that build confidence, independence, and teamwork.
In Year 4, children take part in a two-day overnight residential trip to PGL in March. This is often their first experience of staying away from home, and it provides a wonderful opportunity for pupils to develop resilience, build friendships, and try new activities in a supportive environment.
In Year 6, pupils take part in a residential visit during Term 6 at PGL near Swindon. This is a fantastic experience and a special way to begin their final term with us. During their stay, children participate in a wide range of activities, including the mud assault course, high ropes, climbing walls, and archery, along with many other exciting challenges. Activities are carefully planned and can be tailored to meet the needs of all pupils, ensuring that everyone can take part and succeed.
These residential experiences are an important part of our wider curriculum, helping pupils to develop confidence, independence, and lasting memories as they progress through the school.
