Hide them around the room, play pairs with them, find them in books you share, use a highlighter to find them in news papers.
Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy

Practical take-away with numbers up to 10.
Collect a number of teddies/toys and count them on top of a blanket, someone hides a couple under the blanket. How many are left? How many where taken away? Swap players.
