Responsible citizens lead fulfilling lives because they make a positive contribution to their community and have the Lifeskills to be economically aware.
AIMS
Our aim is that :
a) All contribute to, and benefit from the local community.
b) All develop relevant Lifeskills to assist in becoming economically aware.
c) There is effective and constructive communication between home and school.
d) Parents/carers take a positive and active role in their child’s education.
e) School fosters a constructive relationship with Governors and the Friends of School (FoS).
f) All within school appreciate and support the wider community.
g) Active involvement from the local community is sought to support learning and the school aims.
h) Extended school provision benefits children’s learning and well-being, and offers benefits to the school & the community.
PROVISION

Regular opportunities for parents to discuss a child’s progress.
Children/parents met by staff every morning.
Regular Forums to discuss developments/issues.
Curriculum meetings that help parents better understand & support their child’s learning.
Curriculum Targets for children are shared with parents.
Annual report for every child.
Weekly bulletin that provides information and reflects school life.
School website informs and shares success.
The After School Club, extra curricular activities and use of school facilities by local groups all benefit families, the community & the school.
