Governors

Governors are made up of parents, school, community and Local Authority representatives.  They oversee the management and leadership of the school.  Nominations for parent governors are well publicised in advance, and details of when the next vacancy is due are obtainable from the office.

 Governors are appointed for a four year term.  There are two main committees.  The School Improvement Committee are responsible for child welfare and curriculum learning.  The Resources Committee are responsible for physical and human resources.

Each committee meets five times a year and the main committee meets six times a year.
