Latest entry: Headteacher Recruitment Update

The Governors would like to thank all the parents/ carers who took the time to give us their views on

what qualities we should be looking for in our new Headteacher. These have been considered carefully

and we are drawing on them as we write the advert, job description and person specification.

We have also taken account of the views of staff and of the children who have worked throughout

the school council to decide what kind of person they would like to see leading our school. They

have been thoughtful and creative in coming up with their ‘wanted’ poster and we would like to

given them a big thank you for all their hard work.

The next step is for the Governing Body to meet next week to consider and approve the advert

and the material that will go into the pack for applicants . We hope that the advert will appear

in the Times Education Supplement etc. very shortly after the February holiday.

We will update you again at that point; and will continue to keep you informed about how the

recruitment is progressing. Thank you all again for your continuing support.
