Year 4 Visit Barton Camp and Lowerstock Farm

This was the first Year 4 residential in our school history and is a direct result of the visioning work governors and leaders did with parents about our new school vision. It was wonderful to see this coming to life as a direct result of parent feedback.

What a fantastic 3 days our Year 4 children have enjoyed in the shadow of the Medips.

With the year group split into 2 groups of 45 all classes had an exciting 2 day trip with an overnight stay.

During the trip childen took part in pond dipping, fire making, shelter building, swimming, team building and other outdoor activities.

The sun shone, the weather was perfect and the children enjoyed every moment of their independence in the great outdoors.

Thank you to the staff from the education team at Lowerstock Farm who delivered some amazing sessions.

Thank you to Mrs Pickering for organising and to all of our staff who worked so hard to deliver activities and care for the children.
